Meet the Doctors
Joseph A. Basilicato, D.M.D.
Dr. Joseph A. Basilicato has been providing patients with the highest level of dental care since he began practicing in 2005.
As an undergraduate at Villanova University, Pennsylvania, he was accepted into the extremely competitive Pre-Professional Honors Program that combined his undergraduate studies with his graduate dental program. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. His pediatric dental training was completed at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, where he was Chief Resident during his senior year. He completed his studies and received his Specialty Certification in Pedodontics in 2005.
Dr. Basilicato is an active and involved member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Passaic County Dental Society, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He served as vice-president of the PCDS in 2013, and president in 2014. He was Valedictorian at DePaul High School, Wayne, NJ, a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the Medical/Dental Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Villanova University in 2000.
Dr. Basilicato is a long time resident of Wayne, where he lives with his wife Jeanette and his son Anthony. He enjoys playing the piano and attending concerts at the New York Philharmonic. He is an active amateur radio operator, as well as an avid reader of both classic and contemporary fiction.
Joseph G. Giuliano, D.D.S.
Dr. Joseph Giuliano has been providing outstanding pediatric dental care in North Jersey since 1981. His undergraduate education was at Seton Hall University, New Jersey where he completed a double major in Biology and Psychology. He graduated with Honors in 1975, and was President of Alpha Epsilon Dental, the Medical/Dental Honor Society.
His graduate and post graduate education and training were at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, New York, where he was accepted into the accelerated Honors Program. He completed his studies and received his Specialty Certification in Pedodontics in 1979. He has spent many years on staff as a clinician and instructor at Children's Specialized Hospital (Mountainside, NJ), St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center (Paterson, NJ) and at Chilton Memorial Hospital (Pompton Plains, NJ).
Dr. Giuliano is a member of the American Dental Association, The New Jersey Dental Association, and The Passaic County Dental Society, where he served as Chairman of Children's Dental Health Month for many years. He is a member of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is the Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Department for Persons with Disabilities, Catholic Charities, Paterson, NJ.
Dr. Giuliano lives in Sparta with his wife Linda, and their two children, Gabrielle and Dante, who are full time college students. He is an accomplished drummer and spends his free time gardening, traveling with his family and enjoying his pets, Mac, a standard poodle and Beaver, his 35 year old African Grey Parrot.
